![]() Now once more, usually US (and I put us in caps for emphasis) early access games lovers, we KNOW what we buy. So if serious question, first maybe OP go read what I wrote in the thread I link, as it touches exactly this If it's a joke, ok, then fine I will waste some time trying to answer seriously. I truely don't know how or what answer to OP. But they are usually more economy based games, or games where you can't really embrace them as a way of life, games on topics where you wouldn't have posters on your walls, nor computer wallpapers. Games where you usually don't see that much fanboi into it are rare indeed. (music, politics, sports, etc pick your poison) Whatever is passion related topic is going to be a "touchy" topic. Those will never admit the flaws, and simply tell you how great the game will be.īut it's not specific to KSP, I have seen that in fishing games, games with horses (those ladies can get so passionate about that lol), racing games (dudes can get so passionate about that lol), etc. Then you have fanbois that are so deeply connected with KSP (overall and maybe also even what I would call lightly "space nerds") that love anything related to space. Passed 2h of gameplay couldn't refund, and got really mad at what seems to them a waste of 50$ Some of the haters got mad because they bought a game with high hopes and hyped themselves for release, and the game did not deliver. But by no mean will buy it early access, not with how it went up to now.īUT you also have to factor in 2 extremes, true haters (for whatever reasons) and their total opposite, true fanbois.īoth of those extremes are "white noise". I still hope yes, to be fair, even if I'm unsure that I will ever buy it at final price. Will we ever see that full potential ? maybe, maybe not. KSP 2 being backed by a large company should give it an advantage over "traditional" early access games to get more workforces, and hence many still have high hopes for that POTENTIALīecause now, let's be fair, KSP (from KSP 1 to KSP 2) has a potential to be a great fun game. So now I can also lead you to this way of seeing things. If it's a joke, ok, then fine I will waste some time trying to answer seriously.I had this feeling with your wording it wasn't going straight to the point. she/he's being serious, or if it's second level of joke I don't get. I truely don't know how or what answer to OP.īecause I don't know if. My question was for those people and people like them: "Why do you think only KSP2 users are so stupid that they don't understand "early access"? Ok, I now understand why I had this feeling and hence why I started with that "Its crazy how many people are refunding the game and saying that it's a disappointment when the game hasn't even been finished yet." they expect a finished and polished game."ĭevs should add a disclaimer so that people understand that the Game isn't finished yet. "People have unrealistic expectations for Early Access. "Many players don't know what EA stands for and expect games without bugs with massive content." You don't seem to understand what that means."įrom Should reviews be blocked for the first 6 weeks in EA? However, whenever someone points that out a good number of the responses are often "It's early access. The fundamentals of the game simply don't work. I was trying to be diplomatic in my question and it seems I was not clear. I see a lot of you put considerable time into your response and I appreciate that.
